PILATES

Pilates has something to offer for everyone and all ages, from an experienced sports athlete to someone who has never worked out a day in their life.

ALL LEVELS (Basic-Advanced)

  • Posture, alignment and balance

  • Lengthening and toning the muscular system.

  • Correcting imbalances and weaknesses

Mat work (IN HOME/VIRTUAL/IN STUDIO) and Reformer with all equipment (IN STUDIO only)

FITNESS / BARRE

Fitness/Barre is a training session that combines a low impact/high energy workout using a combination of resistance bands, light weights and a stabilizing support. You will be feeling the burn!

ALL LEVELS (Basic-Advanced)

  • Muscle sculpting - targeting specific individual muscle groups

  • Basic ballet technique 

  • General fitness 

  • Cardio

  • Improved flexibility

IN HOME/VIRTUAL

DEEP STRETCH

This offers a total body deep stretch and release while working through the fascial tissue. Positions are held longer in order to  progress the lengthening of the tissue, ligaments and muscles surrounding all of the bones and  joints in the body. 

I will almost always incorporate some form of stretching through out any private lesson offered but I can also offer a complete deep stretch class if this is what your body desires.

◆ ABOUT ME ◆

Jessica, originally from Southern California, started her dance training at a very early age of 5 years old learning multiple styles of dance with a strong emphasis on ballet and jazz technique. At the age of 13, she discovered she had a muscular imbalance in her back so she added Pilates to correct the imbalance and assist with giving her the proper strength and flexibility needed for her dancing. Pilates improved her dancing and benefited her so much that she was inspired to become an instructor in the future to help others the way Pilates helped her. 

She became a professional commercial dancer in the US (primarily Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas) for 10 years where she worked on multiple Films with stars such as Cate Blanchett, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise, TV shows, commercials, music videos, live stage performances with musical artists, a world tour, and with the prestigious company, Cirque du Soleil. 

Ready for a change, Jessica always knew she wanted to be a teacher one day and to give the gift of sharing the many things she grew up to learn and to help people heal and feel better about themselves.

She went to New York to complete her Pilates teaching certification course at True Pilates New York through the Romana’s Pilates training system which included over 600 hours of observation/training through Joseph Pilates’ original method of Contrology in its truest classical form. 

Through her years as a professional dancer, she had numerous trainings in fitness for dancers including “Fit barre” (that she learned in Los Angeles, CA), and numerous stretching techniques. All of these combined, shaped her in to becoming the dancer she was and who she continues to apply through her life as a personal fitness coach today. While her main focus is on pilates, she offers fitness and stretching into her techniques just depending on what her clients needs and wants are for their particular body type. Lessons are also properly designed for pre-existing injuries and minor pain. Therefor, no client will ever have the same workout as any one else.
